Founded by world-class martial artists Ross and Maddie Levine, Turbo Kickboxing Academy merges elite-level training with community and support.
Martial arts is for everyone and we have created a space where students build character, strength, and confidence.
Martial arts has the power to transform lives. We empower our students to become the best version of themselves.
The head instructor at Turbo Kickboxing Academy with 30+ years of martial arts experience, Ross is a decorated competitor in sport karate and professional kickboxing. Starting at the age of 7, he quickly fell in love with the training and all the great values that came along with it.
After earning his black belt in Taekwondo, Coach Ross began competing on the regional scene, national circuits and eventually the world stage! Following an illustrious sport-karate career, compiling 12 world titles, Ross turned his attention to kickboxing, where his competitive journey continued to skyrocket.
Coach Ross took his talents all over the world, dominating well known organizations such as GLORY Kickboxing and Karate Combat. Beyond fighting, Ross is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, bringing his deep expertise in movement, health, and recovery to his teaching.

Providence native Ryan Chin discovered jiu jitsu in 2003 after catching a glimpse of a live class during a karate tournament, and from that moment on, he was hooked.
What started as a spark of curiosity quickly became a lifelong pursuit. Ryan went on to earn his black belt under Pete Jeffrey while completing his Psychology degree at the University of Rhode Island, blending technical skill with an intuitive understanding of how people learn, grow, and build confidence on the mat.
With over two decades of experience, Ryan’s mission is simple: to introduce anyone and everyone to the art of grappling, and to help each student develop a deep love and understanding for the sport of jiu jitsu. His classes emphasize technique, mindset, and the belief that jiu jitsu is for every body, whether you're stepping on the mat for the first time or leveling up your skills.
